I hate to admit it but I have came down with a bad case of hopeful thinking. You know, when you hope everything will work out in your favor and wishes. But sooner or later, reality will hit. And it will hit hard. Maybe I have been blind to see what reality was trying to show me all along. I blinded myself to avoid reality and replace it with a daydream. A daydream that I thought I needed, but really it was only a want. I wanted that daydream to come true. I was willing to go through great lengths to make it come true. I am not blind anymore by hopeful thinking. I was slapped in the face by reality. But I am thankful for being slapped back into reality, actually. Now I can focus on what really matter, finding happiness.
There’s always that one person in the office you just don’t want to talk to.
